Elmer is one of our amazing drivers who comes to work each day with a positive attitude, meticulous attention to detail and a willingness to do whatever it takes to make our clients happy. If you can’t find Elmer, he’s usually out washing the fleet of vans or ensuring they are ready for the next delivery. Elmer is so important to us and the client experience at Jessie & Laurent. We sure do appreciate his hard work!
What is your favorite kind of music/playlist to listen to while you’re making deliveries?
Pop, Latin, and Christian music
What is your favorite thing to do on your day(s) off?
Go on Walks/runs by the Arch Street Stairs in Larkspur and go biking with my nephew and niece.
What is your favorite movie?
Any Action movies like Transformers or Avengers.
Dead or alive, real or fictional, who would be your ideal passenger?
My grandfather…I could listen to him for hours about what life looked like for him when he was young.
When not ordering from J&L, what is your signature dish in the kitchen?
Rattlesnake pasta (Chicken pasta) or Ahi tuna.
What is your favorite J&L dish to eat?
Coq Au Vin, Enchiladas, or the soup of the day.
How long have you been on the J&L team?
6 months.
What is one thing most people don’t know about you?
I enjoy small talk with anyone even though I have a serious face.
What makes J&L different from other places you’ve worked?
As a delivery driver, I get to work independently a lot. I also get to drive by places I have never visited before, even in my own neighborhood.
